English Heritage were undergoing major restoration to the grounds and we were appointed to carry out one of the four key elements that would kick start the master plan – revitilise the walled garden. This would require a new visitor centre, cafe, seating and dining areas, children’s play area, waste treatment plant, car parking and access roads.
When finished Wrest Park welcomed the media and public to taste its new facilities for the first time. The results and feedback were magnificent, it was a sterling performance against some difficult conditions but the collective efforts and determination of the team ensured expectations were exceeded.
