Section 278 works & construct a new three lane access road

SB Civil Engineering entered into a sub-contract with Lagan
Construction group to deliver the Section 278 works package and
construct a new three lane access road. The works provided the link
from the public highway through a section of waste land into a new
state of the art Energy Recovery Facility at the existing landfill and
recycling plant in Beddington, Sutton.

As with all S.278 works ensuring the road network was
unaffected as much as reasonably practicable and making
provisions for public safety is at the forefront of SB Civil
Engineering’s planning and working methods.
